KAM Conference 2011

“On the road to success – Berlin 2011"”

Under this motto, around 200 key account managers from BMW branches and retailers met in Berlin for their traditional annual conference. A somewhat different workshop focused on the emotional transfer of knowledge and interactive learning.

Together with sociologists and trainers, trendhouse EventMarketing developed a both intensive and entertaining training course which culminated in three discovery tours through Berlin on the second day of the event. Experience something new, change perspectives and find other approaches in your daily life with this new perspective; this aim was not only mastered outstandingly by the participants in the workshop but also in the event programme in Germany's capital city.

The tour “Berlin in Action” led visitors to the viewing terrace of the Park Inn Hotel, for example. While the trip to the top was comfortable in the elevator, the way down was somewhat more exciting – 100 metres free fall, protected only by a thin wire rope. Equally emotional, but for those with a quieter nature, was the tour to “Berlin’s buildings”. Besides bunker systems, participants were also able to discover impressive monuments of the contemporary Berlin.

An evening event above the rooftops of Berlin, lunch on the beach of the “Sage” restaurant in Kreuzberg and a concert highlight in the open-air location “Waldbühne” made real Berlin experts of the participants.
