Children's media prize

Children's media prize Award as part of the film festival

The “white elephant” became an object of desire in the awarding of the children's media prize. The popular trophies were awarded for the tenth time in the Munich Gasteig as part of the film festival. With these awards, the Munich Media Club honours directors and producers from cinema, TV and internet which have children and teenagers as a target audience. Furthermore, young actors are honoured for their acting performance.

For the first time this year, short films produced by children and teenagers in schools were also awarded the prize. Presenter and actor John Friedmann, together with his colleague and supporter Ursula Karven, was therefore able to look into the shining eyes of many children in a total of seven categories.

The happy winners where then swarmed by the press and so gained an insight into the “everyday life of a star”.
