Our journey began in the historic city of Nizwa, more specifically the imposing Nizwa Fort, which offered a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. In the streets, we were able to immerse ourselves in the scents of spices, incense and fresh bread for the first time.
The second and third days were all about adventure and nature. From picturesque canyons to adventurous via ferratas that rewarded with magnificent views, coastal trips on a Harley Davidson to traditional date plantations, there was a lot on offer. In the capital city of Muscat, we floated in the colorful alleys full of fabrics, jewelry and crafts and spent the night at Jumeirah Muscat Bay, a hotel that harmoniously combines luxury and nature.
On the fourth day, we went out onto the water. A boat trip in Bandar Al Khairan allowed us to watch dolphins in their natural environment and then we swung ourselves into the crystal-clear water with snorkels and diving goggles.
On the last day of our trip, we visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, a true architectural masterpiece. The simple elegance and finely crafted details impressed us deeply. The peace and spirituality that this place radiates made the end of our trip a special experience.
